12:20 PM EDT, 07/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Puma Exploration ( PUMXF ) on Wednesday said a 3,500-meter drill program is underway at the Lynx Gold Zone on its Williams Brook Gold project in Northern New Brunswick.
The company said following the initial 3,500-meter program at Lynx, part of the fully funded $2-million exploration program and 5,000-metre drilling program devised in collaboration with Kinross Gold ( KGCRF ) (K.TO KGC), which holds an option to acquire a 65% stake in the project, a subsequent 1,500-meter program will target the best prospects on the property, based on the results of the ongoing 2025 trenching, stripping, surface channel sampling and the current drilling program.
"We anticipate that our 2025 drilling program will not only demonstrate the quality of the deposit at Lynx but also highlight the potential of the entire 40,000 ha project," said Puma Chief Executive Marcel Robillard.
