PureCycle Technologies Obtains EU Certification for Recycled Plastic

09:09 AM EDT, 10/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PureCycle Technologies ( PCT ) said Tuesday that it has received the Reach Certificate of Compliance, allowing it to sell its PureFive resin to customers in the European Union.

The Reach certification means PureCycle ( PCT ) recycled polypropylene meets the EU's regulatory requirements for human health and environmental protection, the company said.

The certification also applies in non-EU countries such as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, the company said.

PureCycle ( PCT ) said it plans to build its first European facility at the Belgian port city of Antwerp, with completion expected in mid-2028.

Shares of the company were up more than 3% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
