08:42 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PureCycle Technologies ( PCT ) said Wednesday it signed a supply agreement with Emerald Carpets for about 5 million pounds annually of recycled resin.

The resin will help Emerald Carpets exceed California's recycled content requirements, the company said.

PureCycle ( PCT ) also said it will recycle Emerald's used carpets into fiber-grade pellets for new carpet production to meet upcoming closed-loop mandates.

Emerald Carpets has successfully tested the resin for high-performance use in trade shows and plans to expand its applications, it said.
