PVH is Being Investigated by China's Commerce Ministry for Allegedly Boycotting Xinjiang Products
Sep 24, 2024 6:02 AM

07:54 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PVH (PVH), owner of clothing brands Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfinger, is being investigated by China's Commerce Ministry for suspected violations of China's market trading principles.

PVH has 30 days to submit documentation and evidence to discuss whether there were any "discriminatory measures" against products from Xinjiang over the past three years, such as a boycott, the ministry said.

In a separate statement, the ministry said the US company is suspected of boycotting Xinjiang cotton and other products "without any factual basis."

PVH didn't immediately respond to an MT Newswires' request for comment.
