08:16 AM EDT, 07/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PyroGenesis Canada ( PYRGF ) , which designs and manufactures advanced plasma processes, on Wednesday reported the amendment of up to 4.1 million common share purchase warrants.

Of the 4.1 million warrants, 697,500 warrants have an exercise price of $1.75 and expire on Oct. 19, 2024; about 2.4 million warrants have an exercise price of $1.25 and expire on March 7, 2025; and about 1 million warrants have an exercise price of $1.25 and expire on July 21, 2025.

Starting July 17, the exercise price of the warrants held by holders wishing to participate in this repricing will be reduced to $0.75 per share.

The amendment would also provide that if at any time before their expiry date, the closing price of the common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange exceeds $0.9375 over any five consecutive trading days, the company will be entitled, within 15 days of the occurrence of such event, to accelerate the expiry date of the warrants to the date that is 30 days after the date that notice of such acceleration is provided.

The company's stock remained unchanged at $0.69 in Canada yesterday.
