07:39 AM EDT, 06/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PyroGenesis Canada ( PYRGF ) said on Wednesday that it received a second order of its titanium metal powder from an aerospace client in Spain for use in additive manufacturing.

The company said the client placed an initial order last April and indicated that it may sign a long-term contract.

PyroGenesis said the new order for its "fine cut" titanium metal powder is ideal for Laser Powder Bed Fusion additive manufacturing methods, including Direct Metal Laser Sinteringor Selective Laser Melting (SLM), which are widely recognized for their precision and strength in creating complex metal components.

PyroGenesis said it has produced the order using its NexGen plasma atomization system.
