PyroGenesis Says Independent Analysis Confirms Fumed Silica Produced at Pilot Scale
May 26, 2025 11:36 AM

08:43 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PyroGenesis ( PYRGF ) , a high-tech company, on Wednesday said that its client HPQ Silicon's ( HPQFF ) independent analysis of material produced during the latest phase of system testing of a Fumed Silica Reactor (FSR) confirms that it is fumed silica.

PyroGenesis ( PYRGF ) is developing the FSR for a subsidiary of HPQ.

The PyroGenesis ( PYRGF )-designed FSR pilot plant is now focused on replicating the lab-scale fumed silica product quality and is undergoing a series of optimization tests.

Fumed silica is one of the most widely-used industrial products and is used in personal care items, processed food products and construction materials, a statement noted.

PYR rose more than 3% yesterday, moving it a bit further away from 52 week low levels.
