SINGAPORE, Aug 16 (Reuters) - QatarEnergy has dropped
the October term price for al-Shaheen crude to 87 cents a barrel
above Dubai quotes, trade sources said on Friday.
The term price, down from a premium of $1.88 a barrel for
September, was set after QatarEnergy sold two cargoes via a
tender, they added.
The producer sold the cargo loading on Oct. 1-2 to
ExxonMobil ( XOM ) at a premium of 80-90 cents a barrel while
the Oct. 26-27 cargo went to Vitol at a premium of 60-70 cents a
barrel, the sources said.
Separately, QatarEnergy sold an October-loading Qatar
Land crude cargo to Shell at 20-30 cents a barrel above
Dubai quotes, while Unipec bought a Qatar Marine cargo at a
small premium to Dubai quotes.
