12:23 PM EDT, 05/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Qatar and US have signed economic deals totaling over $243.5 billion, including Qatar Airways' $96 billion agreement with Boeing ( BA ) and GE Aerospace (GE) to purchase 210 Boeing ( BA ) aircraft powered by GE Aerospace engines, The White House said Wednesday.

The deals were announced during President Donald Trump's visit to Qatar, where he signed an agreement to generate an economic exchange worth at least $1.2 trillion between the two countries, according to the White House statement.

Raytheon, an RTX (RTX) business, reached a $1 billion agreement for Qatar's acquisition of counter-drone capabilities. Under the agreement, Raytheon will sell its fixed site - low, slow, small unmanned aerial system integrated defeat system, which is designed to counter unmanned aircraft, to Qatar.

Parsons (PSN) has also secured 30 projects totaling up to $97 billion in Qatar, according to the announcement.
