04:42 PM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Qiagen ( QGEN ) is expanding its partnership with Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz to include an advanced polymerase chain reaction-based molecular screening platform to detect malaria in addition to HIV and hepatitis B and C virus.

The collaboration will also make Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz dengue molecular kits to support epidemiological surveillance of Brazil's dengue epidemic, Qiagen ( QGEN ) said Thursday in a statement.
