05:27 AM EST, 01/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Qiagen ( QGEN ) said Friday that it has expanded the capacity of its QIAcuity Digital PCR system to simultaneously detect up to 12 targets from one biological sample, from its previous capability of up to five targets.

The upgraded capability was made possible by a software update and the company's newly launched QIAcuity High Multiplex Probe PCR kits, without the need for any hardware changes, the company said.
