06:08 AM EST, 11/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Qiagen ( QGEN ) said late Tuesday that it has struck a partnership with the McGill University Centre for Microbiome Research to advance microbiome research activities.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.

The company said it will support the McGill Centre with reagents for research across various microbiology and genomic processing workflows.

The McGill Centre will use Qiagen's ( QGEN ) products to explore the relationships between microorganisms and their hosts, as well as serve as a beta-testing facility to develop new Qiagen ( QGEN ) products for microbiome applications, Qiagen ( QGEN ) said.
