Qualcomm, Ampere Collaborating to Develop AI Inferencing Solution

12:36 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm ( QCOM ) is collaborating with Ampere Computing to develop a joint solution for AI inferencing, the latter said Thursday.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Ampere said it is using its central processing units and Qualcomm Cloud AI 100 inference cards in the development process.

This solution is expected to address large language model inferencing needs for the industry's largest generative AI models.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
