06:16 AM EDT, 10/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm ( QCOM ) is facing an antitrust probe by China's State Administration for Market Regulation over its recent acquisition of Autotalks, an Israel-based fabless semiconductor company that specializes in vehicle-to-everything communications, the regulator said Friday.

The investigation will focus on whether the US chipmaker breached China's anti-monopoly law in connection with some aspects of the deal, according to the regulator.

Qualcomm ( QCOM ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

The company's shares were down 3.1% in recent premarket activity.
