Qualcomm Fiscal Q2 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Fiscal Q3 Guidance Set -- Shares Rise After Hours

04:21 PM EDT, 05/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm ( QCOM ) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings Wednesday of $2.44 per diluted share, up from $2.15 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.32.

Revenue in the quarter ended March 24 rose to $9.39 billion from $9.27 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $ 9.35 billion.

The company said it expects fiscal Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $2.15 to $2.35 on revenue of $8.8 billion to $9.6 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ project EPS of $2.16 on revenue of $9.05 billion.

The company's shares rose 3.6% in after-hours activity.
