A number of partners are supporting the coalition, including Amazon.com ( AMZN ) , Cisco Systems ( CSCO ) , Dell Technologies ( DELL ) , Ericsson (ERIC), Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ), Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) , Meta Platforms ( META ) , Microsoft ( MSFT ) , Nokia ( NOK ) , Motorola Solutions ( MSI ) , SK Telecom ( SKM ) , Stellantis ( STLA ) , Snap (SNAP), T-Mobile US ( TMUS ) , Alibaba Group ( BABA ) , Li Auto ( LI ) , Nio (NIO), XPeng ( XPEV ) and others, according to Qualcomm ( QCOM ).
The collaboration intends to deliver 6G commercial systems starting in 2029 and beyond, Qualcomm ( QCOM ) said, adding that 6G is being developed as an artificial intelligence-native system that stands upon connectivity, wide-area sensing, and high-performance compute.
Shares of Qualcomm ( QCOM ) were down 1.6% in recent Monday premarket activity.
