Qualcomm's Deadline for Bid to Acquire Alphawave Extended to May 12 by UK Panel

09:59 AM EDT, 04/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm's ( QCOM ) deadline to declare a bid for semiconductor firm Alphawave IP Group has been extended to May 12 by the UK Panel on Takeovers and Mergers, Alphawave IP said in a Tuesday statement.

Qualcomm ( QCOM ) said on April 1 that it was considering to make an offer to acquire the entire share capital of Alphawave, according to the statement.

The two parties are currently engaged in discussions, Alphawave said.
