Quanex Building Products Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings Flat, Sales Decline

05:00 PM EST, 03/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quanex Building Products ( NX ) posted fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $0.18 per diluted share, flat from a year ago.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.11.

Net sales for the quarter that ended Jan. 31 was $239.2 million, down from $261.9 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $232.1 million.

The company expects fiscal 2024 net sales of about $1.1 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.09 billion.
