Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.71.

Net sales for the quarter ended July 31 were $280.3 million, down from $299.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $278.6 million.

The company said it expects fiscal 2024 net sales of $1.28 billion to $1.29 billion compared with a previous guidance of $1.1 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.27 billion.

Shares of the company rose above 20% in recent after-hours activity.
