07:25 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quanta Services ( PWR ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.90 per diluted share, up from $1.65 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.90.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $5.59 billion, up from $5.05 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $5.50 billion.

The company now expects 2024 adjusted diluted EPS to be between $8.32 and $8.87, raising its previous guidance of $8.15 to $8.65. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are looking for $8.61.

Full-year revenue is expected to be between $23.5 billion and $24.1 billion, also higher from $22.5 billion and $23 billion previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $23.85 billion.

Shares of the company were up 4.4% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
