10:58 AM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) said Monday it has extended its Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the Los Alamos National Laboratory focusing on the company's new entropy quantum optimization machine, Dirac-3.

The agreement focuses on the machine's capabilities to solve "highly complex" problems related to quantum simulations, social networks, protein structure prediction, and telecommunications, the company said.

Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) shares were down about 2% in recent trading.
