Quantum Computing Ships First Commercial Entangled Photon Source

09:29 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) said Tuesday it has shipped its first commercial entangled photon source to an unnamed research institution in South Korea.

The product, a broadband entangled photon source, will support research in quantum networking and secure communications, the company said. It operates in the C-band telecommunication range and is compatible with existing fiber optics infrastructure, the company added.

Shares of the company were down more than 6% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
