10:27 AM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) said Tuesday it received a contract from the US Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology to design and fabricate thin-film lithium niobate photonic integrated circuits.
Under the agreement, the company will offer its prototyping and foundry services to deliver photonic integrated circuits focusing on low optical-loss waveguides, high-performance modulators, and narrow-band filters. The period of performance runs from June 16 through April 15, 2026.
Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) was also awarded a chip order from a Fortune 500 science and technology firm that offers services for defense, intelligence, and commercial markets, the company said.
Financial details of the contracts were not disclosed.
Shares of Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) were up more than 7% in recent trading.
