Quarterhill Q1 Loss Narrows as Revenue Grows 23%

07:26 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quarterhill ( QTRHF ) , a provider of tolling and enforcement solutions in the intelligent transportation system industry, on Monday reported a first-quarter comprehensive loss of US$4.9 million, or US$0.04 per diluted share, narrower than its loss of US$11.2 million, or US$0.10 per diluted share, a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was US$34.9 million, up 23% from US$28.3 million a year earlier. The increase was driven by increased activity and improved performance with North American project revenue.

The adjusted EBITDA loss for Q1 was US$0.2 million, compared with a loss of US$3.8 million a year ago.
