08:31 AM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quarterhill ( QTRHF ) said on Thursday that it won two contracts valued at US$1.5 million ($2.1 million) for the supply and maintenance of iTHEIA AI Video Automatic Traffic Recorders in the western and eastern regions of North Dakota.

Under the contracts, the company will provide iTHEIA upgrades for 14 existing traffic data collection sites across the state and install three additional sites at the Bismarck Expressway, Buxton, and Bowesmont.

The iTHEIA system will provide vehicle count and classification data used in highway planning, design, maintenance, and management in North Dakota, the company said.
