07:55 AM EST, 02/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Quebecor (QBR-B.TO) on Thursday reported an adjusted profit beat for the fourth quarter as revenue remained flat.
For the quarter ended Dec. 31, adjusted income from operating activities came in at $0.80 per basic share compared with $0.73 per basic share a year earlier. A consensus estimate from FactSet had analysts expecting $0.74 per share.
The company reported net income attributable to shareholders of $177.7 million, compared with $146.2 million a year ago. Fourth-quarter revenue fell to $1.499 billion compared with $1.504 billion a year earlier, in-line with analysts' expectations.
The company will pay a quarterly dividend of $0.35 per share on its class A and class B shares, payable on April 8 to shareholders of record on March 14.
Shares of the company closed down 0.8% at $32.94 on Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
