Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.86.
Net revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $2.37 billion, compared with $2.33 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.29 billion.
For 2024, the lab diagnostics company said it now expects adjusted diluted EPS of $8.72 to $8.97, compared with the prior outlook of $8.60 to $8.90. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ project $8.75.
Net revenue guidance for the year was raised to a range of $9.40 billion to $9.48 billion, from $9.35 billion to $9.45 billion previously. Analysts expect $9.40 billion.
Quest shares were 3.8% higher in Tuesday premarket trading.
