10:44 AM EDT, 05/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Quest Diagnostics ( DGX ) and PathAI said Wednesday that Quest has agreed to acquire certain assets of PathAI Diagnostics as part of a wider collaboration.

The transaction, which includes PathAI Diagnostics' digitized laboratory in Memphis, Tennessee, will close in Q2, according to a joint statement.

Quest also agreed to use PathAI's digital pathology system in its labs and customer sites in the US and will provide lab services for PathAI's biopharmaceutical work, the statement added.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
