11:33 AM EDT, 05/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Rail Vision ( RVSN ) said Tuesday that it has received a notice of allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office for its artificial intelligence-based railway obstacle detection system.

The patent covers a method for improving rail safety through electro-optical imaging technologies combined with AI, the company said. The goal is to reduce collision risks and train accidents by using AI to analyze scenes and process images, the company added.

Shares of Rail Vision ( RVSN ) rose 8.5% in recent trading activity.
