02:11 PM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rain Enhancement Technologies (RAIN) said Tuesday it has started operations of its first US installation after receiving a weather modification permit from the Colorado Water Conservation Board.
The company said its weather enhancement technology array, or WETA, system, installed in Gill, Colorado, in October, is now active under a permit valid through Oct. 31, 2026, with the option for a five-year renewal.
The WETA system is solar-powered, operates autonomously and leaves no environmental residue, the company said.
Shares of Rain Enhancement Technologies rose 12% in recent trading.
