11:03 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets outlined Monday bitumen production of oil sands companies operating in Alberta for February.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. ( CNQ ) 's production at its Jackfish operation rose 6% sequentially to 115,900 barrels per day (bbl/d).

Output at Cenovus Energy Inc. ( CVE ) 's Sunrise operation increased 7% sequentially to 49,950 bbl/d as the company brought new well pads on-stream during the first quarter.

Strathcona Resources Ltd. ( STHRF ) 's production at the Tucker Lake operation crossed the 20,000 bbl/d mark in February, up about 3% sequentially.

RBC said projects with the lowest SORs in 2024 include Cenovus' Christina Lake and Foster Creek operations as well as MEG Energy Corp. ( MEGEF ) 's Christina Lake operation.
