07:55 AM EDT, 08/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canada's Housing market activity became static again following the June bump in resales, said RBC after the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) data of Thursday.
New listings increased for a fourth consecutive month, reaching a 10-month high in July, noted the bank.
Prices increased a "modest" 0.2% m/m, moving little from prices recorded this spring, pointed out RBC.
A slower housing market recovery is expected, with potential acceleration in activity to come alongside deeper interest rate cuts, according to the bank.
