08:49 AM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canada will release the international merchandise trade for August on Tuesday, at 8:30 a.m. ET, noted RBC.
Canadian exports in August likely declined by 3% month over month given the 6% reduction in oil prices, which natively impacted the energy trade balance, said the bank.
Imports are expected to lower by 0.6% month over month, bringing the trade deficit to C$1.1 billion, according to RBC.
