11:10 AM EST, 02/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets said Wednesday said the lithium market will continue to approach a more balanced supply state in 2026 and 2027.
RBC also expects further price volatility in the near term to create upside potential if inventories continue to trend lower.
RBC said on current drivers in the lithium markets include recent supply uncertainty that drives volatility, timing of supply/demand balancing, and regulatory changes that could drive changes in purchasing activity given incentive and tax policy changes in China.
