12:23 PM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Realbotix ( XBOTF ) on Tuesday launched its Realbotix Robotic AI Vision System for the company's humanoid robots.

The company said the technology is designed to "enhance humanoid robots' user interactions by improving real-time awareness and adaptability," allowing robots to recognize, understand, and respond to their surroundings.

Realbotix's ( XBOTF ) AI Vision System includes a suite of capabilities including user face recognition, face tracking, object recognition, and real-time scene detection, the company said.

The AI Vision System leverages cloud-based multimodal AI to update its understanding of surroundings continuously. This enables robots to generate context-aware responses and engage in more sophisticated conversations by combining real-time vision processing with advanced large language models, the company said.

"The Realbotix AI Vision System marks a step forward in AI robotics," says CEO Andrew Kiguel. "By adding intelligent vision, the use cases for our robots are enhanced."

The company's shares were last seen down $0.02 to $0.49 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
