REalloys to Build Rare Earth Metallization Facility

06:46 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- REalloys ( ALOY ) said Wednesday it plans to build the largest heavy rare earth metallization facility outside of China.

The commercial-scale operation will be capable of meeting 2027 US defense procurement bans on Chinese materials or equipment, the company said.

The equipment for the facility will be built in Saskatoon in partnership with the Saskatchewan Research Council, the company said.

The plant will be integrated with the company's current metallization operations in Ohio, the company said.

Initial operations are currently scheduled to begin in mid-2027, the company said.
