Jan 5, 2021 5:02 AM

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Relame is all set to launch its latest smartphone Realme V15. The latest device that comes with the Dimensity 800U chipset will be launched in China on Thursday at 2 pm local time.

The details of the upcoming launch were revealed by the Company's China President Xu on Chinese social networking site Weibo. While the news of the launch is encouraging, it is not the first time that the device came on the radar of tech lovers. Last year it made headlines when the images of the phone were leaked under the name Realme Koi.

The new variant is not a standalone flagship model but part of the V series that was introduced by the tech giant in August.

Features & Specifications

Seen as a successor to the popular Realme V5 model, the handset is expected to come with a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD and 90Hz refresh rate.

On the camera front, the model is expected to carry a quad-camera set-up in the rear that includes a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. It will also carry a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The handset is also expected to arrive with 50W rapid charging technology.
