08:32 AM EDT, 07/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ReAlpha Tech ( AIRE ) said Monday it has purchased an 85% stake in chatbot developer AiChat with the remaining 15% expected to be bought on June 30, 2025, for a total price of $1.14 million.

The homebuying platform operator said the payment will be made in company shares in three stages starting Jan. 1, 2025. Additionally, reAlpha will invest $300,000 in AiChat at a mutually agreed time, the company added.

The acquisition is intended to support reAlpha's AI capabilities and expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, reAlpha said.

Shares of reAlpha were up 2.2% in recent Monday premarket activity.
