08:45 AM EDT, 04/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RecycLiCo Battery Materials ( AMYZF ) on Thursday said it has been granted a patent from the Indian government for key battery recycling processes.

The patent covers 18 claims, including the separation of cobalt compounds from cathode materials containing carbon and graphite.

The Indian patent follows existing patents previously granted for the same invention in other jurisdictions and brings RecycLiCo's global patent portfolio to 15. The company has five additional patent applications relating to lithium-ion battery recycling processes filed globally.
