Red Cat, Palantir Partner to Improve Surveilance Drone Capabilities

07:20 AM EST, 12/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Red Cat Holdings ( RCAT ) said Monday that it partnered with Palantir Technologies ( PLTR ) to integrate visual navigation software into Red Cat's ( RCAT ) Black Widow surveillance drones and deploy Warp Speed, Palantir's ( PLTR ) manufacturing operating system.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The collaboration will result in Palantir's ( PLTR ) AI software running aboard Red Cat ( RCAT ) drones and will use onboard satellite imagery to provide navigation without the use of GPS or radio signals.

Red Cat ( RCAT ) Chief Executive Jeff Thompson said the innovation will improve intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities.
