08:36 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Red Pine Exploration ( RDEXF ) reported Wednesday additional drill results from its ongoing drilling program at the Wawa gold project in Ontario.
Results include 45.38 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 3.13 meters, including 141.00 g/t gold over 0.88 meters. The company has completed about 90% of its 25,000-meter drill program that commenced in November 2024.
"These high grades occur within broader zones of near-surface mineralization that will be used to assess the potential for open pit production," President and CEO Michael Michaud said. "These near surface high grade results give us greater confidence in our path forward."
Red Pine said it expects to complete drill testing of the starter pits in early July, after which it will begin work to update a 2024 mineral resource estimate. A preliminary economic assessment is expected to be ready in the first half of 2026.
