11:09 AM EDT, 03/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Red Pine Exploration ( RDEXF ) reported Thursday its "best intersection of the year" from four drill holes totaling 1,487 meters of assayed drill core as part of its 25,000-meter drill program at the Wawa gold project in Ontario.
Highlights include 5.68 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 10.72 meters, including 19.05 g/t gold over 2.00 meters.
"We are excited that our drilling returned the highest grade and widest intersection from the current program and that it comes from a hole that can extend the high-grade core of the Jubilee Shear at depth by more than 600 meters," chief executive Michael Michaud said. "Our recent drilling indicates that this new shoot could extend over almost 1 kilometer along its plunge and that it remains open up- and down-plunge."
The company said a drill hole near the Parkhill Mine intersected high-grade mineralization over 300 meters away from this historic mining area.
Red Pine shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.12 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
