07:22 AM EDT, 07/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Red White & Bloom Brands (RWB.CN) late on Thursday provided an update on the management cease trade order issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission following a delay in the filing of its audited financial statements and related management's discussion and analysis for the 2024 fiscal year, and interim filings for the period ended March 31, 2025.
The company on June 23 submitted a request to the commission for a limited extension of the management cease trade order to align with the expected filing timeline for the annual filings.
On June 30, the BCSC advised the company that the request would not be granted.
As a result, a failure-to-file cease trade order was issued, effective Thursday. Before the issuance, the company and its auditors provided the commission with a status update on the 2024 audit and related filings.
The company said it is confident it will complete its annual filings ahead of the annual general meeting on July 11 and will complete the first-quarter 2025 filings afterward.
The company will continue complying with reporting requirements by filing bi-weekly default status reports until the annual filings and first-quarter 2025 filings are submitted.
