12:26 PM EDT, 05/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Redwire ( RDW ) said Tuesday that it has been awarded a NASA contract to conduct a study to conceptualize a commercial Mars spacecraft that will provide Mars surface imagery to industry and government customers.

The concept, based on Redwire's ( RDW ) spacecraft technology, could be used to support future Mars exploration missions, the company said.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Redwire ( RDW ) shares were nearly 1% higher in recent trading.
