07:57 AM EDT, 07/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Redwire Corp. ( RDW ) said Wednesday it has completed the first deployment test for one of its Roll-Out Solar Arrays meant for the lunar Gateway's Power and Propulsion Element.

The Gateway Roll-Out Solar Arrays will generate 60 kilowatts of power that is expected to support capabilities for sustained exploration and research in deep space, the company said.

Redwire ( RDW ) said it was contracted by Maxar to develop two Roll-Out Solar Array wings, adding that they will undergo additional testing in the coming months as Redwire ( RDW ) prepares to supply the wings in Q4, the company added.
