08:38 AM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Redwire ( RDW ) said Tuesday it reached an agreement with Thales Alenia Space, a joint venture between Thales and Leonardo, to become the prime contractor for European Space Agency's Skimsat mission.

Skimsat is a technology demonstration mission for a small satellite designed to operate in very low Earth orbit, Redwire ( RDW ) said, adding that the mission will leverage the company's Phantom spacecraft.
