Regenxbio Names Curran Simpson President, CEO

08:07 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Regenxbio ( RGNX ) said Wednesday it named Chief Operating Officer Curran Simpson as president, chief executive and a member of the board, effective July 1.

Simpson joined the company in 2015 as chief technology and operations officer.

Co-founder Kenneth Mills is stepping down as president and CEO after 15 years of leadership and will serve as chairman of the board.

In addition, board member Daniel Tasse has been appointed lead independent director, succeeding Jerry Karabelas, who along with former chairman and co-founder Allan Fox, will remain on the board.
