Regions Financial Board Extends Share Buyback Plan

09:12 AM EST, 12/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Regions Financial ( RF ) said Wednesday that its board approved the extension of its share buyback plan through Q4 2025.

The company said that as of Sept 30, it had repurchased 31 million shares for $557 million as part of a repurchase authorization of up to $2.5 billion announced in April 2022.

Regions Financial ( RF ) shares were up 1.1% in premarket trading.
