Reliance Jio GigaFiber registration starts tomorrow, says report
Aug 14, 2018 7:18 AM

The registration process for Reliance Jio GigaFiber will commence tomorrow, reported The Indian Express.

As per reports, people interested in availing the service can do it through myjio app and Jio.com site. In case users would like to try the broadband service (again, it entirely depends on the availability of the service in your area), they can do so by paying Rs 4,500 as a one-time security deposit

In addition, users will get initially 100 GB of monthly data for 90 days at 100 Mbps speed, the report said.

While the commencement of registration for the highly anticipated broadband scheme will begin tomorrow, reports suggest that it does not mean that users will get instant access.

As per various sources the availability of service will depend on various factors including location. While the report says that Jio officials have vouched to give priority to areas with large number of registration it will be not surprising if the access to service will take some time.

Disclaimer: RIL, the promoter of Reliance Jio, also controls Network18, the parent company of CNBCTV18.com.
