08:46 AM EDT, 04/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Renasant ( RNST ) said Tuesday it has completed its merger with First Bancshares (FBMS), the parent of The First Bank.

Full conversion and integration of The First's operations is expected to be completed in early August, Renasant ( RNST ) said.

The company announced its proposed acquisition of First Bancshares in an all-stock deal valued at about $1.2 billion in July 2024.
